Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate cardiac and sedation drips
Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen therapy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment plans
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal
Ability to pass open-book exam on skills with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in critical care skills including titrating drips and ventilator management
Strong cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable floating to PCU or MedSurg as needed
