Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients and deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient status, interventions and progress in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions and follow-up
• Monitor and escalate changes in patient condition to the appropriate provider in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact license where applicable
• Current BLS certification; ACLS or specialty certifications preferred when applicable
• Comfortable with medication administration, IV therapy and patient assessments
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and best practices
• Experience with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Proficiency in clinical assessment, vital signs monitoring and IV/med administration
• Good clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families and the care team
