Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple ERs in Zone 4
Float between facilities to ensure staffing coverage and continuity of care
Triage patients, assess acuity, and prioritize interventions
Administer medications, start IVs, and perform emergency procedures
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and techs in a fast-paced environment
Monitor telemetry, interpret strips, and respond to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in emergency nursing skills including triage, trauma, and stroke care
Comfortable with telemetry interpretation and point-of-care testing
Flexible and adaptable to varying patient volumes and facility protocols
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
