Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage emergency patients quickly and accurately
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage ventilators
• Provide critical care interventions for trauma, stroke, and cardiac events
• Perform conscious sedation and monitor patients during procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and support staff to deliver seamless care
• Document all care in Cerner electronic health record
• Participate in unit orientation and mentor float staff

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years recent ER/Trauma Level 1 experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ATCN or TNCC certification preferred
• PALS or ENPC certification required
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills

• Use of Cerner charting system
• Operation of GE Lifepacks monitors and Puritan Bennett ventilators
