Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend; holiday commitment in November/December

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a busy trauma center
Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization for conditions like cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and respiratory distress
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless care
Manage ER holds and work alongside inpatient nurses when needed
Administer medications, monitor telemetry, and interpret cardiac rhythms
Participate in code situations and emergency procedures with confidence

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact state
Minimum 1 year of ER experience in a larger trauma setting
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
Willingness to work holidays in November/December
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Epic EMR system
Strong triage and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of cardiac, stroke, and sepsis protocols
Experience with telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
