Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Triage patients promptly, prioritizing based on acuity and clinical need
• Collaborate with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform emergency procedures with confidence
• Closely monitor patients and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Document accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized environment in the emergency department

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS strongly preferred
• Emergency department or critical care experience is a plus
• Ability to stay calm and think clearly in high-pressure situations
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of emergency nursing principles and protocols
• Skilled in patient assessment, triage, and prioritization
• Proficient with IV insertion, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Comfortable using electronic health records and medical equipment
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• A caring, empathetic approach to patient and family communication
