Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population in our combined ED and MedSurg unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with a focus on positive outcomes
Titrate drips and monitor telemetry as required for acute and swing bed patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient flow
Float to ED holds when needed and step into charge nurse role as assigned
Maintain a safe, compassionate, and efficient environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
At least one year of recent MedSurg experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including every other weekend and holiday
Comfort with titrating drips and reading telemetry strips

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in acute care, swing bed, and emergency department nursing
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for a fast-paced environment
Experience with NEBS, O2 therapy, CPAP, and ventilator transport
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float and adapt to changing unit needs
