Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered emergency care to a diverse patient population
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and stabilization of patients presenting to the ED
• Administer medications, start IVs, and carry out physician orders with precision
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide clear education and support to patients and families during stressful moments
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and uphold infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or a compact state
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required
• ACLS certification required or obtained within a specified timeframe
• PALS and TNCC preferred for emergency department roles
• Previous ED, urgent care, or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency triage and patient assessment
• IV therapy, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Critical thinking and rapid decision-making
• Effective communication and collaboration in high-pressure situations
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Knowledge of emergency nursing standards and best practices
