Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, rotating shifts including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a dialysis setting
Perform AVF/AVG cannulation, CVC access, and hemodialysis
Manage and titrate heparin drips
Precept new staff members as needed
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses

Qualifications

Current RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Peritoneal dialysis experience
Competence with hookup and disconnect procedures
Experience with Baxter Home Choice machines

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Dialysis and peritoneal dialysis
Hemodialysis and hemodialysis complications
AVF/AVG cannulation and CVC access
Heparin titration and management
