Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients in the operating room
Assist surgeons during open-heart and vascular procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and manage intraoperative equipment
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Document patient care accurately and maintain sterile field

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CVOR or surgical nursing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures
Proficiency in sterile techniques and OR protocols
Excellent assessment and monitoring skills
Teamwork and collaboration abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills
