Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to cardiac surgery recovery, lung transplant, and high-acuity ICU patients
Manage complex devices such as IABP, CRRT, ECMO, and temporary pacemakers
Assist with bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, Swan-Ganz catheters, and epidurals
Float to other ICUs and telemetry units as needed to support the team
Maintain sterile field during Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Collaborate with intensivists, RT, and pharmacy to deliver comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, CVICU preferred
Level I Trauma experience mandatory
BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Strong IV skills and proficiency with Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac surgery recovery and post-operative care
Proficient with Phillips telemetry and Cerner documentation
Competent in IABP, CRRT, and ECMO management
Excellent sterile technique and central line care skills
Ability to adapt quickly to floating assignments and high-acuity environments
