Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary based on staffing needs), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care and nursing interventions with compassion
Perform thorough assessments and document changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families to promote recovery and self-care
Prioritize patient safety and infection control practices at all times
Support smooth shift handoffs and clear communication with colleagues

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of New Mexico (required)
Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
Comfortable working independently in per-diem assignments and adapting to varied teams
Strong communication, time management, and clinical judgement skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid assessment and clinical decision-making abilities
Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
Proficient with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Patient education and family-centered care approach
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Team collaboration and clear professional communication
