Physician - Gastroenterology
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 24 hour call shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, specific dates including June 23-28, July 20-26, Aug 30-Sept 3, Sept 11-12, Nov 7-11, Nov 30-Dec 5, Dec 26-31, 5-7 days per month ongoing
Candidate Pay Rate: $551 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform ERCP and EUS procedures with precision
- Conduct scoping and endoscopy for critical cases
- Manage GI bleeds and evaluate complex GI problems
- Provide consults in a fast-paced inpatient Level 1 Trauma setting
- Handle 8-10 new patients and follow-ups daily
- Complete 5-8 scopes per day making a real difference
Qualifications
- Active CO license or IMLC
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Proficiency in ERCP and EUS mandatory
- Experience in inpatient GI consults
- Clean credentialing file for quick emergency privileges
Education
- Medical degree with Gastroenterology specialization
- Board certification in Gastroenterology preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in ERCP, EUS, scoping, endoscopy
- Skilled in GI bleed management and GI problem evaluation
- Comfortable with EPIC electronic medical records
- Ready for high-volume Level 1 Trauma environment
