Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures using and building protocols to deliver precise diagnostics
• Screen patients for contraindications and enforce safety protocols per ACR and facility standards
• Interview and educate patients on procedures, addressing concerns with tact and empathy
• Ensure utmost patient and staff safety by managing hazards around the magnet
• Monitor patients continuously and operate essential equipment for optimal care
• Maintain a spotless environment and track equipment status for seamless operations
• Assist with inventory and contribute to the hospital's mission through strong relationships

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required
• BCLS certification (obtain within 4 months of hire and maintain)
• Associates Degree or Certificate from an accredited program
• Experience providing care to diverse patients including geriatric, pediatric, and general populations

Education

• Associates Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in MRI procedures and protocol development
• Patient care and safety monitoring
• Equipment operation and maintenance
• Effective communication and patient education
