Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab specialists
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home care programs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Experience with pediatric or orthopedic patients is a plus
• Strong communication and patient-education skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation techniques
• Proficient with electronic medical records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
• Adaptability to a fast-paced per diem environment
