Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient setting to support recovery and safe discharge
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to improve function and independence
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner to maintain clear clinical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts PT license (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and hands-on treatment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and bedside interventions
• Experience with therapeutic exercises and mobility training for inpatient populations
• Comfortable with clinical documentation and charting in an EMR
• Ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and families
• Strong patient-centered approach and time management in a fast-paced hospital environment
