Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and families with warmth and professionalism
• Manage patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes efficiently
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays accurately
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries with compassion
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with clinical staff to deliver a seamless patient experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred
• Must be reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent customer service and patient-facing skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and EHR systems
• Understanding of medical billing and insurance verification
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
