Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures and treatments
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring a sterile and welcoming environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, and post-treatment instructions
• Chart patient treatment and manage records using Denticon
• Sterilize and organize instruments and supplies to keep the office running smoothly

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification required
• Orthodontic Certification required
• Experience with Denticon software preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Familiarity with dental radiography and safety protocols
• Proficiency with Denticon or similar dental practice management software
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Attention to detail and infection control standards
