Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care and cleanings to patients
• Perform comprehensive oral health assessments and document findings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver the highest quality patient care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively in a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in taking and processing dental x-rays
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
