Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient care and treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental impressions and records
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Prior experience as a dental assistant in an orthodontic setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational ability

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and appliance handling
• Dental equipment operation and sterilization protocols
• Patient care and comfort techniques
• Electronic health record (EHR) usage
• Team collaboration in a clinical environment
