Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders, developing personalized care plans that restore independence in daily living skills
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans, adjusting goals as patients progress
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services that make a real difference in patients' lives
• Supervise COTAs in line with state practice acts and facility policies, fostering a supportive team environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure seamless, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active Wyoming OT license or the ability to obtain one before starting
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
• A collaborative spirit and a passion for helping others regain independence

Education

• Master's degree (MOT) or Doctorate (OTD) from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and therapy delivery
• Skilled in accurate and timely patient documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to supervise and support COTAs effectively
• Understanding of discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and safety standards
