Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy assessments and interventions for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans to help children achieve developmental milestones
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to deliver coordinated care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Empower families with education and home exercise programs to support recovery

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in California
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pediatric development and therapeutic techniques
• Skilled in creating engaging, age-appropriate treatment activities
• Proficient with electronic health records and documentation
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
