Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and perform routine nursing tasks with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the patient chart
• Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and facility procedures to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or vocational nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable administering medications, performing patient assessments, and charting in an EHR
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to meet facility Health Requirements and pass background checks as required

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Solid patient assessment and documentation abilities
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
• Comfortable using electronic health records and clinical charting
• Effective communicator with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptable and able to work efficiently during 12.5-hour clinical shifts
