Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care
• Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts and rotating weekends
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Expert medication administration and documentation abilities
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and team members
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergencies
• Comfortable with electronic health records and technology
