Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide compassionate care and support to geriatric residents
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Support residents' mobility and transfers with dignity
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing setting a plus
• Ability to work per diem shifts as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of geriatric care principles
• Compassionate patient care approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Understanding of infection control practices
