Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with safe transfers, mobility support and fall prevention initiatives
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
Support resident hygiene, grooming, feeding and toileting needs with dignity
Document care provided accurately and communicate clearly with the care team
Create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident comfort and independence

Qualifications

Current GNA certification or equivalent (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
Demonstrated experience caring for older adults or in a long-term care setting preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
Comfortable assisting with mobility and safe transfer techniques
Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care
Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during a shift
