Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents in a geriatric setting
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Engage residents in activities and promote independence
• Document care accurately and collaborate with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of geriatric patient care and safety protocols
• Proficiency in basic medical terminology and documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs
