Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the rehabilitation team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care
• Develop and implement clinical programs and best practices across the rehab service line
• Oversee staff scheduling, performance reviews, and professional development
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and facility policies
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Analyze clinical and operational metrics to drive quality improvement and efficiency
• Manage patient flow and throughput while maintaining high standards of documentation
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor, fostering a positive and educational environment

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician in your discipline (e.g., PT, OT, or SLP) with active state licensure
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting preferred
• Solid clinical background in adult inpatient rehabilitation practices
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency with clinical documentation and comfort using electronic medical records
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field; advanced degree or clinical specialization a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in rehab clinical pathways, discharge planning, and functional outcome measures
• Skilled in staff development, performance management, and program growth
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards affecting rehabilitation services
• Ability to interpret clinical and operational data to inform decision-making
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-family communication skills
• Familiarity with EMR systems and efficient documentation practices
