Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients of all ages
• Perform oral health assessments and take dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Assist dentists during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Document patient care and treatment plans with accuracy
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a comfortable patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in a dental practice preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and radiography
• Understanding of periodontal disease and preventive care
• Skilled in patient education and chairside manner
• Proficient with dental practice management software
