Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Perform periodontal assessments and document patient health histories
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and at-home care techniques
• Collaborate with dentists to create tailored treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in dental radiography and digital imaging
• Familiarity with electronic health records and dental software
• Attention to detail with a focus on infection control and safety
• Compassionate patient care and education skills
