Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient visit for our young patients
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays, helping to diagnose issues early
• Educate patients and parents about proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks
• Provide a warm and comforting presence to help children feel at ease

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification in the state of Wisconsin
• Radiology certification or ability to obtain one
• Previous experience working with children, especially in a dental setting, is a plus
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Skilled in taking and processing dental X-rays
• Ability to create a positive and friendly environment for children
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Team player with a willingness to help wherever needed
