Shift Type: Rotating (varies Monday-Sunday): 8-hour shifts 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Includes every-other to every-third weekend coverage and holiday coverage. Night and day rotations; schedule created by coordinator/supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for inpatient, outpatient and ER patients, including routine CT and advanced CTA studies
• Execute stroke imaging protocols rapidly and accurately to support timely care
• Assist with interventional procedures such as biopsies and drains when needed
• Start IVs for contrast administration and support patient preparation and monitoring
• Operate Siemens 64-slice and 40-slice CT scanners (with fluoro capability) safely and efficiently
• Use EPIC and PACS to document studies, communicate with radiologists and maintain accurate records
• Float to support transport or other radiology areas as certified, contributing to team coverage
• Maintain patient safety, infection control and high-quality patient experience on every shift

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• Active North Dakota state radiologic technologist license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Comfortable or willing to learn IV starts and contrast administration
• Preferred experience with biopsies, drains, interventional radiology and stroke imaging
• Team player with initiative, reliability and a patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of CT protocols including CTA and coronary CTAs
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners (64-slice and 40-slice with fluoro)
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record and PACS workflow
• Competence in patient positioning, contrast administration and radiation safety
• Ability to assist with interventional procedures and work in acute care settings
• Good communication skills for collaborating with radiologists, nurses and transport staff
