Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to acute care patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, and feeding
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Support the nursing team in maintaining a safe, clean, and healing environment

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Virginia
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient lifting for full 12.5-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail in patient documentation
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in fast-paced situations
• Knowledge of patient safety and infection control practices
