Location: Santa Rosa, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Varies - Flexible schedule based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 30
Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans to help patients regain independence in daily activities
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to modify interventions based on patient progress
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the EMR system
- Contribute to a positive, healing environment in a skilled nursing facility
Qualifications
- Active COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license in California
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a COTA in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
- AHA BLS certification required
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a interdisciplinary team
- Proficiency with EMR systems and documentation
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
