Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Assist residents in improving functional independence, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs) in a skilled nursing setting.
- Document patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active Oregon COTA license in good standing.
- Previous SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred but not required – we are happy to train the right candidate!
Education
- Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

- Occupational therapy techniques and modalities
- Patient care and ADL assistance
- Documentation and care planning
- Geriatric rehabilitation and SNF protocols
- Team collaboration and communication
