Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health and vital signs to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support residents with meals and hydration, tracking intake as needed
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided accurately and timely, following facility protocols

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of CNA scope of practice and infection control procedures
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and team members
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring residents
• Attention to detail in recording vital signs and patient observations
• Team collaboration and willingness to assist wherever needed
