Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 04-09-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (start/end times and specific days to be confirmed with scheduling team)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while maintaining dignity
Measure and record vital signs and observe residents for changes in condition
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Communicate effectively with nurses, families and the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required immunizations
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a care team
Comfortable providing hands-on care and following facility policies

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of basic patient care and safety practices
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
