Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with hygiene, grooming, feeding and mobility safely
Take and record basic vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver great care
Engage residents in meaningful interactions to promote dignity and well being

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligible to be certified
Current CPR/BLS certification as required by the facility
Ability to pass background check, TB screen and required immunizations
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Previous long term care or nursing assistant experience preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living assistance and basic patient care
Basic skills in taking vital signs and recognizing common changes in condition
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
Good documentation habits and the ability to follow care plans
Teamwork, time management and respectful communication with residents and staff
