Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility safely
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation to support patient care continuity
• Support fall prevention, infection control, and a safe environment for residents
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Ability to work the night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and provide dependable coverage
• Comfortable performing hands-on patient care and safe patient handling
• Clear background check and any facility-specific onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic patient care and ADLs
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control and safe handling techniques
• Good observational skills and ability to escalate concerns
• Teamwork, empathy, and strong interpersonal communication
