Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Support meal assistance and basic feeding needs with dignity
Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (Class: CNA) required
Current state nursing assistant registry listing preferred
Comfortable working the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
Passion for patient-centered care and teamwork
Willingness to complete facility-required orientation and trainings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assistance with ADLs, bathing, dressing, and toileting
Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices
Ability to perform safe patient transfers and use of assistive devices
Familiarity with charting fundamentals and following care plans
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
