Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate daily care to patients, helping with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report changes to the nursing team
• Support patients with meals and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Keep patient rooms and common areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to maintain continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
• Ability to float to different units as needed, adapting quickly to diverse patient needs
• Prior experience as a CNA in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus
• A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families
• Knowledge of basic nursing practices and medical terminology
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform clinical tasks and assist patients
