Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, attentive care to residents in daily activities
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
  • Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
  • Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
  • Document care provided accurately and promptly
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

  • Current Connecticut CNA certification (or compact/state license as applicable)
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable team player
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required in resident care

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and infection control
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing resident needs
  • Teamwork and collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail in documentation and care delivery
