Location: Danbury, Connecticut

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour shifts, per diem schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, attentive care to residents in daily activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
- Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Document care provided accurately and promptly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- Current Connecticut CNA certification (or compact/state license as applicable)
- CPR certification preferred
- Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable team player
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required in resident care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and infection control
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing resident needs
- Teamwork and collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail in documentation and care delivery
