Shift Type: Days not specified, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs and report any changes promptly to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and communicate with families respectfully

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Active New Mexico CNA license or ability to obtain state registration
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling
Pass required background checks, health screenings, and immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Practical knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Infection control practices and attention to safety
Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
