Location: Santa Maria, CA

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call for weekends and evenings

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab
Assist cardiologists and radiologists during procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and ablations
Operate and maintain imaging equipment like Cerner and Xper systems to ensure high-quality imaging
Prepare patients for procedures, including monitoring vital signs and administering contrast media
Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab as needed to support patient care
Participate in on-call rotation for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage

Qualifications

2 years of recent Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required
Certification as RCIS or ARRT required
Travel experience preferred
Ability to respond to on-call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR and Xper imaging systems
Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology
Skilled in sterile technique and infection control
Experience with EP lab procedures is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
