Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients in a behavioral medicine unit
• Monitor patient progress and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC system
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 6 months of behavioral health unit experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• DCI/BVP certification (or ability to obtain)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in using EPIC electronic health records
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle crisis situations with calm and empathy
