Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments using careful setup and alignment to ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy
• Perform CT simulation and assist with treatment planning to create individualized care plans
• Complete chart and film checks, room setup, calculations, and MOSAIQ documentation before each treatment
• Assess patient status during direct interactions and coordinate appropriate referrals to the multidisciplinary care team
• Collaborate closely with radiation therapists, physicians, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain equipment and treatment area readiness, following radiation safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience
• ARRT certification required
• California RTT license required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred
• Comfort working day shift hours and collaborating within a busy oncology department

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient setup and immobilization techniques
• CT simulation for radiation therapy planning
• Treatment planning fundamentals and treatment delivery workflows
• Proficiency with MOSAIQ electronic medical record systems
• Familiarity with Varian TrueBeam systems (preferred)
• Strong communication and patient-care skills, including assessing patient status and making referrals
