Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts; facility needs coverage for both days and nights. Exact start/end times vary by assignment and unit (schedule includes day and night coverage, may include 8- or 12-hour rotations).
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
- Monitor and interpret patient data, respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and advanced life support according to protocols and orders
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Perform and document clinical assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record
- Participate in unit quality initiatives, competency evaluations, and required testing
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (must be able to work in California; Nursys verification required)
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- NIHSS certification required
- DCI/BVP certification required
- Completion of Prime skills/checklist and competency exams as listed by the facility
- Meet required health and screening items (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB testing, Hepatitis B, Fit Test, 10-panel drug screen, immunizations)
- ICU experience preferred; ability to work both day and night shifts
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
- Comfort with hemodynamic monitoring and titratable drips
- Familiarity with stroke assessment tools (NIHSS)
- Skilled in medication administration and basic pharmacology principles
- Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
- Accurate EMR documentation and adherence to licensing/credential verification
