Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable 40-hour shifts with on-call rotation and floating to other departments

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams including abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, neonatal head, and superficial structures
Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, and drainages
Operate Canon i700 equipment and utilize Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
Provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure high-quality imaging

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting
ARDMS certifications in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work variable shifts, including call and floating

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal head, superficial structures, and vascular ultrasound
Skilled in ultrasound-guided procedures
Experience with Canon i700, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
