Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms with precision and speed
• Capture high‑quality images using 2‑D, M‑mode, color flow, pulsed and continuous wave Doppler
• Inject contrast agents and acquire corresponding images
• Accurately measure and calculate echo/doppler data
• Document all findings and complete required paperwork promptly
• Assist with transesophageal echo setup and support
• Archive and retrieve studies digitally
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other technologists
• Rotate on‑call and standby duties with peers

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) preferred
• Experience with adult TTE and TEE essential
• Experience with stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress, and pediatric echo a plus
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR and Merge PACS
• Knowledge of Philips Epic and Philips IE33 systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
