Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 6:00 PM, 4 10-hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as needed, with call requirements of 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform general, vascular, and procedural ultrasound studies
Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain records
Work effectively with radiology team and other healthcare professionals
Provide high-quality patient care and imaging services

Qualifications

Registered Sonographer (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
Strong vascular experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with procedures and ultrasounds

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Ultrasound technology and procedures
Vascular and general sonography
Patient care and communication
Electronic medical records (EMRs) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
